Broadway Trivia by and for the people who know it. Get your team together and join us at the New Generation Theatrical Studio space to indulge in an expertise that you have been waiting to unleash alongside other theater aficionados. We’ll throw three rounds of trivia at you, serenade you with some of your favorite songs, and then open the mic up to do some singing with a live accompanist to end the night with the talent only Orlando has, so bring your book and live your dreams. Basically, we just want you to feel at home with your favorite topic surrounded by people who are just as into it as you are. And as always, the bar will be open.
Karaoke sign ups will take place that evening, and spots will be limited so make sure to arrive early and put your name in because we wanna hear you sing!
Hosted by Hannah McGinley Lemasters with Chris Leavy on keys.
Escape to the Garden, where Jack Worthing juggles respectability and a not-so-respectable alter ego, “Ernest.” Jack uses his fictional brother as an excuse to ditch his dull country life for London, where he stays with his chaotic friend Algernon and woos Gwendolen, who loves him (or maybe just his fake name). But when Jack proposes, her fearsome aunt, Lady Bracknell, demands proof he wasn’t born in a handbag at Victoria Station. Meanwhile, Algernon crashes Jack’s country home, posing as Ernest, and falls for Jack’s ward, Cecily, who’s already head over heels for the non-existent brother.
This isn’t just Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy—it’s Wilde with snacks! Immerse yourself in the hilarity with garden party finger foods and drinks. Chaos awaits, and you’re invited!
Come for the comedy, stay for the shenanigans, won’t you join us?
